Scholaro Premium Terms
Fees and Payment
As consideration for the services you purchased, you agree to pay Scholaro, Inc. the applicable service(s) fees set forth on our Website at the time of your selection, or, if applicable, upon receipt of your invoice from Scholaro. All fees are due immediately and are non-refundable, except as otherwise expressly noted, as required by applicable law, or as such fees are billed by Scholaro under an invoice to a Customer that expressly permits payment for Services by a Customer within thirty (30) days after placing an order.
Should Scholaro deem an order to have been underpaid, it reserves the right to request additional funds.
A PDF version of the document is included in the translation price. Hard copy delivery is an additional service.
Requests for proofreading must meet the required criteria:
The original translation must have been completed by a third party professional translator.
Requests must be accompanied by separate source and target documents.
The original translation must accurately reflect the source document in formatting and content.
Scholaro reserves the right to reject a request for proofreading and ask that you pay the difference for a translation order and/or refuse a proofreading request altogether.
Certification and Notarization
Certification verifies that the translation was completed by someone with competency in both the source and target languages. The notarization certifies the signature attached to said certification. Neither the certification nor the notarization attests to the accuracy of the translation or the validity of the source document. The certification and notarization statements will appear by default on the last page of the delivered file and will not be replicated on other pages unless explicitly requested.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Scholaro will not use any personal information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly authorized to do so by such individuals, other than to provide services described on this web site. Scholaro will not divulge or otherwise disclose such information to any person or third party other than authorized employees or authorized subcontractors of Scholaro whose job performance requires such acts, without the prior written consent of the customer.
Scholaro will provide free corrections of grammatical mistakes, omissions, and typos as long as they are brought to our attention within 30 calendar days. Scholaro will provide a refund in whole or in part if our translation is not accepted by any reputable organization in the United States.
Quotes and Pricing
Scholaro reserves the right to adjust all quotes and pricing upon receiving and reviewing the materials to be translated. We will notify you if additional fees or time is required before processing your order. Written quotations are valid and will be honored for up to 90 days after a quotation has been issued despite any price increase that may have occurred since the original quotation was issued. Verbal quotations will not be honored under any circumstance and are subject to prices as posted online at the time of placing an order.
Processing time is the time required for Scholaro to complete the translation. Processing time is not guaranteed. While we try to complete all orders within the time specified, any order can be delayed by a reasonable amount of time.
Delivery times are only estimates. Actual delivery time may vary. We have no control over USPS, FedEx, or customs delays. FedEx provides a money-back guaranteed delivery barring customs delays and delays due to inclement weather. This guarantee is also suspended during some holidays.
Limitation of Liability
IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES Scholaro, INC.'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE LISTED FEES OF THE SERVICES OFFERED. Scholaro SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE UPON A CLAIM OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, INDEMNITY OR CONTRIBUTION, OR OTHER CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES IT OFFERS WHICH EXCEEDS THIS LIABILITY LIMIT. Scholaro SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THIRD PARTY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AGAINST THE CUSTOMER, OR FOR MALFUNCTION, DELAYS, INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER OR NOT Scholaro HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH CLAIMS OR DAMAGES.
