As consideration for the services you purchased, you agree to pay Scholaro, Inc. the applicable service(s) fees set forth on our Website at the time of your selection, or, if applicable, upon receipt of your invoice from Scholaro. All fees are due immediately and are non-refundable, except as otherwise expressly noted, as required by applicable law, or as such fees are billed by Scholaro under an invoice to a Customer that expressly permits payment for Services by a Customer within thirty (30) days after placing an order.

An evaluation will not be prepared and fees will not be refunded in the event Scholaro determines that any documents submitted for evaluation process are inauthentic and/or have in any way been altered, tampered or forged. The institution or agency for which the evaluation is intended, U.S. government agencies, and other evaluation services and academic institutions may be notified.

The U.S. educational equivalencies recommended in Scholaro evaluation reports are in accordance with established guidelines and represent the considered judgments of qualified evaluators. Evaluation policies are subject to change based on ongoing research in comparative education. Scholaro evaluation reports are advisory and not binding on any institution, agency, or third party. Scholaro does not guarantee that an applicant, agency, or any third party will agree with its educational equivalency recommendations.

Delivery times are only estimates and not a guarantee. Actual delivery time may vary. We have no control over USPS, FedEx, or customs delays. FedEx provides a money-back guaranteed delivery barring customs delays and delays due to inclement weather. This guarantee is also suspended during some holidays.

The term business day means Monday through Friday, excepting recognized public holidays.

Sau khi hoàn thành đánh giá, mọi thắc mắc về báo cáo đánh giá đó phải gửi cho Scholaro bằng văn bản trong vòng hai tháng đầu tiên kể từ ngày hoàn thành. Yêu cầu xem lại báo cáo đánh giá hoặc thắc mắc về đánh giá gửi sau hai tháng kể từ ngày hoàn thành đánh giá sẽ phải chịu một khoản phí xem lại do Scholaro quyết định.

Kích hoạt lại và đơn đặt hàng bị hủy

Applicants are contacted via email in the event additional documentation or information is required to process the order. If an applicant fails to respond or provide the required information after two email attempts within 90 days, Scholaro will contact the applicant one final time (three total) via email and also upload a notice to the account informing the applicant that the application will be marked as ‘Abandoned’.

If the applicant does not contact Scholaro within the allotted 90 days, Scholaro reserves the right to update the status of the application to 'Abandoned'. After 90 days, an application may be re-activated for a $50.00 re-activation fee.

Evaluation Reports issued by Scholaro do not have an expiration date and Extra Copies may be requested at any time following the completion of an evaluation order. Extra Copies requested after two years may be subject to a $50 re-evaluation fee to comply with current evaluation policies.

Re-evaluations of credentials not submitted with the original application request are treated as new evaluations and a second payment of the evaluation report is required. Requests to change a report type (e.g. General evaluation to a Course-by-Course evaluation or vice-versa), once an evaluation has been completed, requires a new fee determined by Scholaro up to the fee of a new evaluation.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit all required documents to Scholaro. Scholaro retains sole discretion to determine the type, format, and sufficiency of documentation required to complete any evaluation. Scholaro will contact the applicant or the agent representing the applicant if additional information, documents, or fees are needed to prepare the evaluation. This may take additional business days and delay the evaluation process. The evaluation will not be processed until all documentation has been received.

Scholaro evaluates credentials from institutions and programs that have the equivalent of regional academic accreditation at the time the program of study was completed. Should an applicant submit documentation issued by an unaccredited institution, or for an unaccredited program at a recognized institution, Scholaro will release an Unaccredited Report. Scholaro will retain a fee in the amount of the price of a General evaluation prepared by our agency and issue a refund to the account for any remaining balance evaluation fee balance.

Scholaro reserves the right to verify documents with issuing institutions, including through electronic and digital methods. Applicants are notified of verification outreach and are encouraged to arrange direct delivery of their credentials to Scholaro by issuing institutions. If applicants do not respond to verification inquiries, the order will be suspended.

IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES Scholaro, INC.'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE LISTED FEES OF THE SERVICES OFFERED. Scholaro SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE UPON A CLAIM OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, INDEMNITY OR CONTRIBUTION, OR OTHER CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES IT OFFERS WHICH EXCEEDS THIS LIABILITY LIMIT. Scholaro SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THIRD PARTY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AGAINST THE CUSTOMER, OR FOR MALFUNCTION, DELAYS, INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER OR NOT Scholaro HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH CLAIMS OR DAMAGES.

Chi phí pháp lý

Bạn đồng ý rằng bên thua trong bất kỳ tranh chấp, khiếu nại, vụ kiện hoặc thủ tục tố tụng nào giữa các bên phát sinh hoặc liên quan đến Điều khoản và Điều kiện hoặc bất kỳ quy định nào trong đây ("Tranh chấp") sẽ phải hoàn trả chi phí luật sư hợp lý phát sinh cho bên thắng liên quan đến Tranh chấp đó.

Luật điều chỉnh

In the event of any disputes with Scholaro, Inc., such disputes shall be governed by Illinois law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Cook County Courts.
