The Ohio State University will break ground Tuesday on the Timoshev Technology Tower, a multi-story innovation and research facility on its west campus. President Ravi Bellamkonda described the project as central to the university's vision for an innovation district and as an incubator to spur the next generation of companies in Ohio's economy. The building will house life science startups, an incubator in partnership with JobsOhio, software and AI-related facilities, and leased space for companies. It is funded in part by a donation from the Timoshev family and supported by JobsOhio and the city of Columbus. The project is expected to open in September 2028. According to WOSU Public Media.
