What is the Scholaro GPA Calculator?
This GPA calculator converts grades from any country in the world to a U.S. Grade Point Average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale. It supports hundreds of grading systems, making it useful for both domestic and international students, admissions offices, and employers evaluating academic credentials.
How is the GPA calculated?
First, grades are converted to U.S. equivalents for countries other than the U.S. Then each U.S. grade equivalent is converted to points using a 4.0 scale, where A/A+ = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0, and F = 0.0. Finally, the points for each course are multiplied by the number of credits, totaled, and divided by the total number of credits to produce the cumulative GPA.
