I am a Senior and I will give you the breakdown of Baylor:
School: The school itself is beautiful and one of a kind. The campus is well-kept and the facilities are really nice. The campus is the perfect size and you can walk anywhere within 15-20 minutes. There are 4 dining halls. The food isn't the best in the world but that is the same with all colleges, right?
Students: The students are mostly Christian and conservative and I found it really easy to make friends. There are so many activities and opportunities to get involved, so if you don't make friends it is probably because you are not putting forth much effort.
Professors: The professors are very genuine and actually want to see the students succeed. They are very helpful and I have only had 2 professors I didn't like in the past 3 years! It is different from a massive research university where teaching is a second-class priority.
Academics: The coursework at Baylor is pretty rigorous but in a good way. Maybe the academic load isn't good for someone who procrastinates too much or is more into partying than school, but I am very thankful for how much I have learned and, compared to my friends who attended different universities, I feel like I am very prepared for entering the workforce after graduation.
Baylor is definitely one of the best schools in Texas! Go Bears!!!
One piece of advice I would gave Baylor is that the college could certainly benefit from cooperating with businesses in the surrounding town of Waco to provide more opportunities of entertainment, discounts, etc. for the students. Waco is a very poor example of a "college town".
I would recommend Baylor University to a friend!
