Awful joke of a school I have very few good things to say about this school. Short version: Too many of the faculty, professors and students tried to cause me problems every chance they got. Professors often gave very little directions on assignments, then berated students, or tried to fail them when the students didn’t live up to their undocumented expectations. Petty, passive aggressive students complain constantly about you without saying anything to your face about the ‘problems’ while trying to get you reprimanded or failed by program directors. While those same students plagiarize constantly, cheat, and disrespect the professors and fellow students by talking, constantly being on their phones or playing games on their computers. The Portuguese program is the worst staffed language program I’ve ever experienced, two teachers specifically are simply mean and petty women who grade arbitrarily, refusing to let students keep or photograph test scores so they can fail them for petty, personal reasons. I would never, ever suggest anyone to go here and I’m a bit bitter that no one warned me about this awful place. I would NOT recommend to a friend. |
