Worth It

I attended DePaul as both an undergraduate and a graduate student, and my experience was fantastic. My classes were about evenly split between the Lincoln Park campus and the Chicago Loop campus with more classes in the loop towards the end of the undergraduate program (this depends on your major). Both locations are great in terms of local amenities, and some classes were also offered online in addition to traditional lectures, which saved me a lot of time. The university seems to be well recognized by employers in the Chicago area if you are planning to stay here. I have also met students from other countries who were planning to (and did) go back. There were one or two classes here and there that I felt were a waste of time either because I didn't like the professor or because I didn't learn anything new, but that was to be expected and did not affect my overall experience. Most professors were top notch and had relevant industry experience. If I had to do it again, I would still go to DePaul, but maybe choose a different major like Entrepreneurship as it's one of the best in the US.

Pros: affordable tuition, knowledgeable faculty, great networking opportunities, access to cutting-edge technology

I would recommend to a friend!
