Hi, thanks in advance to those who'd be willing to share their opinions and thoughts with me.

I came to the US 5 years ago as J1 exchange visitor. I was working in the same place after my working visa expired. In the meantime, I enrolled in college and went home after 5 months of being in the US, I worked 1 month illegally. I then got the F1 visa and came back to the USA, started school and continued working in the same place until Feb 09.

Up until today, my F1 status is clear but I want to apply for off campus work based on economic necessity. What are my chances of getting denied when I apply for a new F1 visa?

I was looking at similar cases but it appears there's none.

Thanks again for your help.

If you were good in study then there should be very little chances of your denying during interview.
