I am a graduate student, my papers are currently being reviewed for reinstatement. My status lapsed after my OPT and I enrolled in a second bachelor's program and applied for reinstatement in August. I received a reply last week from the vermont center requesting more information. For the meantime, I continued to try and enter a masteral program with the professor I wanted to study with. I was recently offered a graduate assistant position in the said university to work and get tuition in return but my reinstatement obviously hasn't been approved yet. I'd like to know what action I need to make in these circumstances.

you can get a new I20 form from the new program then leave the country to obtain new (or use existing if valid) F1 visa and re-enter. You may withdraw the reinstatement application
