  Small, but really good.

  It is one of the youngest public universities in Serbia, but with a tradition of more than 50 years. It was first part of Belgrade University, but it is totally independent almost 40 years. It has more than 10.000 students and covers relatively large area, including cities of Kragujevac, Cacak, Vrnjacka Banja, Uzice and Jagodina. It is very progressive and last 3-4 years works a lot on development of new study programs and development of scientific work. The number of scientific papers published in web of science journals increased considerably in 2011 and 2012. It is one of the least expensive, if not the least expensive, university in Serbia. The city of Kragujevac also offers relatively inexpensive life for university students. The best university students can use university dorms, which offer really good conditions for really low price.

  Cons:

  • large class sizes
